Suiran Kyoto | A Marriott Luxury Collection Resort

Build beside the beautiful Hozu River, I got to stay at a Marriot Luxury Collection called Suiran. The location, property, and the staff were all amazing but it was the little details that made my experience memorable. The garden was immaculately manicured, the food was seasonal and presented like art, and the turndown service went as far as straightening my slippers when I got back from dinner. My favourite part has to be the private Onsen that was part of my room. It was actually the only onsen I experienced on my Japan trip this time so it was special. On top of that it turned out I timed the fall colours perfectly which I’m stoked about. Overall, a sweet stay 🍁
